Elephants are becoming such a popular icon in today's generation. People want clothes, accessories, art, and even tattoos of elephants but do they really know what they symbolize. It's been said that elephants symbolize strength, power, spirit, loyalty and many other things. Some believe so strongly that it is part of their religion and elephants are sacred. Elephants in some cultures have more respect then some in a community. It could also be spiritual thing where people feel they are a connector to someone that has passed on. Since elephants are thought to be wise they are also looked to for guidance and answers that someone may be seeking. So the next time you're looking at that top in the store window take a second to think what does it mean to you besides it's just another piece of clothing.
