This color scheme I found when i search through Pinterest. These colors could represent the personality and emotions of an elephant. The blue is when they're calm, the purple when they're feel active, the pink for when they're excited or happy. This color would be great for a background because you can have a wide selection depending on the post or the mood you're in.

While looking for cute elephant designs online. I cam across this on Pinterest, I wanted to find some sort or decal or something to put on a canvass. This isn;t only inspirational but it's cute! People love inspirational quotes and it just makes it 10 times better that it's shaped like an elephant. This also relates to my other posts by bringing awareness to the community and hopefully we can make a difference.

This piece of jewelry I saw on my friends key ring. It was cute but elegant and really made me thing about my blog as soon as I saw it. This could be used as a simple back ground just using to make a collage and have it sitting in the back ground. The key ring is exactly what I've been talking about throughout the whole blog, Elephants, it shows they are iconic and loved by many people.

Source of Inspiration: Text

As I was looking through pinterest for some craft ideas I cam across this font and new it's what I would want to use for my blog. The name of this font is Quirlycues. This would be used for the text, I feel like it's a fun and appealing font. This connects to elephants they are energetic, outgoing and fun and I believe this font displays that. This font is eye catching and easy to read.

Source of inspiration: Color

Like most college students I found my self browsing Pinterest and I came across this cute color pattern.  These are really popular this year so I thought it wpuld be great to use when designing a tapestry. Also popular this year anything spiritual is what people are looking for, so each of these colors could be a background color with the design of an elephant on it. The blue is a calming color, while the peach is a vibrant up-beat color. These colors would be a good representation of different characteristics and personalities of elephants. The last blue can represent how they can be soothing not only to each other but to humans. The orange can represent their spunky and loving personality. I believe these could also be used as a background for my blog.

Save the Ivory

https://www.google.com/search?q=elephants+with+pink+tusks&biw=1366&bih=643&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&sqi=2&ved=0ahUKEwjwmtDU1IXMAhUBx4MKHXYYBNoQ_AUIBygC#imgrc=kiOxCH_7dU0onM%3A
Humans are elephants only natural predator. Every year thousands of elephants are killed for their tusks. Ivory is hard to come buy and extremely expensive since people can't get it when they need to they result to poaching. This has become a huge issue, so now scientists are trying new things to keep elephants from beimg killed. There is talk about a chemical being using on elephants tusks that isn't harmful to the animal but will make the ivory useless. It would be a huge break through and accomplishment to have this being used as soon as possible.

Elephants in the Circus

Elephants have always played a huge role in the circus. Dating back to 188 when the Ringling Brother's started the circus it was just humans doing acts. After awhile they started using animals as part of their acts. The first two animals to enter were a bear and a horse. After 1884 they slowly started incorporated other animals including elephants. They started out being a large attraction. After awhile it became a huge up roar of using elephants in the act. As of this year they will be taking elephants out of their act. That will include taking 13 elephants and sending them to an elephant conservation center.

If elephants could wear shoes what would they pick?

https://www.google.com/search?q=elephant&biw=1920&bih=955&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiL_r_f0u3LAhVG7B4KHXUGCSYQ_AUIBigB#imgrc=u_4P_VM65dUD7M%3A

Let's call her Katie, shes 21 and likes to take casual walks. So I think a converse will be just fine. Versatile and goes with most occasions she'll be ready to go at any time. If she wants to dress them up or go for a casual walk these are her best choice.

This is Alex. He's a business man and really needs some great shoes to set him apart from all the other elephants. He needs a pair of J75 wing tip dress shoes, offered in a variety of colors they are a steal for anyone in the business world. They look great with a suit or khakis.

Anyone who has a child, niece or nephew knows that kids can be a handful. Well,  this mother has a set of twins and doesn't know whether she should buy two of the same pair or get them totally different pairs. Jack and Joey are twins and seem to love the same things one day and then they're polar opposites the next. Our best advice is get them some skechers light up shoes in two different colors that way they can switch every so often when they decide they hate the ones they have but can always get them back when they love them again.

An Elephant as a pet? Why not.

People always say that they really want a cat or dog as a pet. That's so generic. Why not get an elephant? I mean sure, they're pretty big, and you would need a lot of space but don't you let your giant dog become a "lap dog" so you might as well upgrade to an elephant. Elephants are known to be very intelligent, they have emotions and form companionship. So they're perfect! not only will they be loyal to you but if need be you can use them as a transportation resource. Wouldn't it be great to show up to an event on an elephant? So next time you're looking for a new pet stop by an pick yourself up an elephant. Please enjoy this hilarious video of an elephant:

Sanctuaries For Elephants

There are sanctuaries all over the USA. Elephant populations are decreasing more and more each year. So for those in need we have elephant sanctuaries. I'm just going to list a few.
 1. Hohenwald Sancuary
-established in 1995 in Tennessee it is the largest animal Sancuary in the nation especially for Asian and African elephants. They offer rehabilitation, herd exposure, health care and companionship. Many retired elephants from circus or zoo can be found here. This isn't a place from the public to come and be entertained but to give the animals a happy life. They've transformed even the small town to be accommodating to the elephants. As a non profit they're always looking for help to continue their great cause.

2. BLES
An elephant Sancuary in Thailand, this one is off the path. If you ever want to travel there make sure you know where you're going. Started by a women named Katherine Connor when she had a heart felt experience with a baby elephant that was sold and taken from its mother. Many Sancuaries are always looking for volunteers and donations.

Sanctuaries a place for any animal do go to find peace, love, family and compassion there are hundreds all over the world!

Movies With Elephants

Everyone loves dumbo, he was different but embraced his ears after some encouragement. Teaching us that different isn't always negative.

Facing his fears one step at a time. Creating bonds and friendships along the way. Cute but tough! The hefflalump movie was one of my favorites growing up.

Helping save the day, well a whole world. Horton finds his place and helps many others find theirs. Sometimes you find a friend and your place when you least expect it. Always follow your heart.

Something you always here being said is that elephants are really intelligent. Have you ever thought about how intelligent they really are? First, they have the largest brain of any land animal and they have three times the amount of neurons as humans. They have many ways of demonstrating their intelligence. Elephants can identify languages and distinguish between gender, age and ethnicity just by the sound of someones voice. They also have a great memory such as when traveling they keep a map in their head of the places they've been and the safest and most efficient route they took to get there. They have been seen traveling those same routes every year around the same time. They also can use tools and objects to their advantage they can hold objects with the muscular trunk to dig and to lift they also use objects to their advantage by creating stairs, something to give them leverage, or creating a path way. Elephants are also artists, why spend money on that fancy painting when you can just have an elephant paint for you? Elephants have so many unknown habits and what seems to be rituals that we don't know about but something we know for sure that they know whats going on around them. and are very intelligent.

The 4 most popular places people get elephant tattoos

Take a second and think do you know someone who wants an elephant tattoo?

1.  Behind The Ear
Getting a tattoo behind the ear can be a fun and daring place to get a tattoo, it's a place where you show off the tattoo but cover it up if need be.
Small+elephant+tattoo+ideas:

2. The Wrist
Stylish and risky. This a place where you can always look and admire your tattoo or have the perfect excuse when your mom gets made you have it. "it's so small you won't even know it's there".
3. The Back
So this is one that you are not going to be able to cover up. Sorry Mom! I want to show this one off and I want people to compliment me on it.

4. The Ribs
Okay guys! last but not least, you just can't help but want this right? no? well okay but there are just some people that can't live without a rib tattoo. It's in a secretive place and you can look at it in the mirror.

What do elephants symbolize?

 www. google.com

Elephants are becoming such a popular icon in today's generation. People want clothes, accessories, art, and even tattoos of elephants but do they really know what they symbolize. It's been said that elephants symbolize strength, power, spirit, loyalty and many other things. Some believe so strongly that it is part of their religion and elephants are sacred. Elephants in some cultures have more respect then some in a community. It could also be spiritual thing where people feel they are a connector to someone that has passed on. Since elephants are thought to be wise they are also looked to for guidance and answers that someone may be seeking. So the next time you're looking at that top in the store window take a second to think what does it mean to you besides it's just another piece of clothing.

Jobs Of Elephants

Elephants could be considered that jack of many trades. They work in entertainment, construction, building, ect.  They are considered transportation, and even a pet to some. Elephants have been in entertainment for years and years. You could see them in the circus, traveling with a group or working individually with an elephant trainer. Elephants are used as a source of transportation all of the world, whether they're the only way to get around, used on a safari or if you just want to take a stroll. Elephants are used in situations when you can't get machinery somewhere. For example in some countries where they are logging they cant get all the trucks and the equipment deep in the forest so they use elephants. They're used as cranes, trucks, really anything to get the job done.

Elephants are similar to horses and can work by leg or hand command, since they are used in different cultures the learn different languages. It's said to be all about trust. If you earn their trust you can take them anywhere and do anything. After a long day of work elephants like to have some time to themselves to just relax and soak in the bath. Considered to have characteristics like a child they may want someone to sit down and cuddle with at the end of the day.

African Elephant vs. Asian Elephants

Many people think that all elephants are the same. That's not the case there are tons of different species of elephant but the two most commonly recognized and basically the only ones are African and Asian elephants.

African Elephants:

Both males and Females grow tusks, they have large ears and can grow well over 12ft. They are usually found in deserts or forest areas. They travel in herds ranging in size from 12 to 20 elephants. In some cases they will break down into smaller groups but always keep contact with one another, Males don't stick around unless they have a mate, they usually break out of the group to start their own herd. Females are the complete opposite they stick with the same herd and are very social. They are said to be very expressive and use "verbal" and "non verbal' communication. They are said to be excellent mothers. they can carry offspring for up to  22 months. When a calf is born it's a big celebration in the herd.  Their diet can very from trees, plants, and fruits, they don't digest some foods very well and can constantly be chewing throughout the day. They don't have any predators besides humans which are the reason elephants have a small population.

Asian Elephants:

They are a smaller elephant. They do have a large body but have small ears, males will grow tusks while females do not. They are much smaller then African elephants in weight and height. Asian elephants are found in places like Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. It said there are only 40,000 left in the wild. They are very social with each other and create bonds within the herd, they will do everything together. Play time is very common within the herd, they are said to be great parents and show compassion and love toward their offspring. Plants are their basic source of food and for the young milk and an occasional plant will get the job done. When it comes to mating Asian elephants will wait til later in life to mate. Females will wait from age 14-25 years old. Males can wait up til 50 years of age to find the right mate. Again, humans are one of the only serious threats to elephants. Generally elephants are friendly and social animals.
